Sitting/dining room: the heart of the cottage is a large sitting and dining room – this room looks over a small, flower filled garden and there is access down to the river Stiffkey just across the road.
The room is an attractively furnished open room and has an open fire which is great on chilly evenings. All fuel for the fire is left at the cottage for you. Other heating comes from storage heaters. For rainy days there are lots of games and books and the cottage also has a TV, DVD player, radio and sound dock for an iPhone or iPod.
Kitchen: a bright and well equipped kitchen – it has an electric cooker and microwave; a fridge freezer, a washing machine and tumble drier. There is a retractable washing line in the garden too. The kitchen opens into the back garden.
Bathroom: this is downstairs too – it has a shower, bath, washbasin and W.C.

There are three bedrooms – a double room, a twin room and a room which has children’s bunks.
All bed linen, except hand towels, is provided.
At the front of the cottage there is a small garden with a long seat – a great place to enjoy the view and watch the world go by.
The main garden is at the rear of the cottage – accessed by steps from the car park. This garden is enclosed and has a BBQ, garden furniture and a hammock to enjoy on sunny days.
